Step 1: Set Source Website to AliExpress
To get started, log into your ZIK Analytics account and configure your source website to AliExpress for optimal results tailored to your requirements.
To begin, click on the Quick Settings icon from the left side bar menu.
Choose the appropriate country from the Shipping Location drop-down menu. As AliExpress is primarily based in China, selecting this location is recommended.
Select AliExpress as your Source Website.
Confirm your changes by clicking on the Apply Changes button.
Step 2: Search for Products
ZIK Analytics allows you to search for specific products, brands, or categories, simplifying the process of shortlisting products and generating new ideas.
Click on the Product Research icon in the left side bar menu.
On the Product Research page, type the name of the product in the search box. Optionally, you can also set more filters, like Sales date range, Price, Feedback, Listings or Condition to filter down your search results. Then click on the Search button.
You will now see the analysis of your search query, like Sale Earnings, Sell through, Sold Items, and more. This information offers insights into market saturation and product potential.
Scroll down a bit to find the listings matching your search query. You can see the shipping location, product name, price, and other helpful information.
You can also filter to show dropshippers only. In the +Filters dropdown menu, check the box beside the Dropshipper only option. You can identify dropshippers with this sign:
Step 3: Use the Item Finder Feature
The Item Finder feature, available on each product listing, helps you discover matches for the item on AliExpress. It presents similar products on the platform, expanding your product sourcing options.
To use the feature, click on the Item Finder icon next to the product of your choice.
Here you can see the original eBay item at the top and matched products under the Similar Products on AliExpress heading. You can also see the prices and estimated profits for each item.
Click on any listing to visit that product’s page on AliExpress, where you can review the price and shipping costs.
A great way to leverage the functionality of manual scanning is to use it with the Scan Seller feature. You can go to a seller’s account and find all the relevant products that might be interesting to add to your store. To scan a seller, click on the Scan Seller icon next to the seller’s name.
A new tab will open, providing a comprehensive analysis of the seller, including details like Sell Through, Active listings, Sold Items, Sale earnings, etc.
If you found a product from the seller, you can use the Item Finder feature again to search for these items in AliExpress.
With ZIK Analytics' manual scanning capabilities for AliExpress, you can optimize your dropshipping business by scanning competitors, calculating profits, and uncovering potential products. This guide has walked you through the process of setting the source website to AliExpress, conducting product searches, and utilizing the Item Finder feature.
