Optimize your dropshipping business with ZIK Analytics' integrated features like Item Finder and Scan Seller, empowering your market research and streamlining tasks. Follow this tutorial to learn how to manually scan items from Alibaba using ZIK Analytics, and don't forget to watch this accompanying video for a visual demonstration.

Step 1: Set Source Website to Alibaba

To get started, log into your ZIK Analytics account and configure your source website to Alibaba for optimal results tailored to your requirements.

To begin, click on the Quick Settings icon from the left side bar menu.

In the Quick Settings configuration panel, select a country from the Shipping Location drop-down menu. For Alibaba, China is the recommended choice due to its predominant base in China.

Set Alibaba as your Source website.

Then click on the Apply Changes button.

Step 2: Search for Products

You can use ZIK Analytics to look for specific products, brands, or even categories. This makes it easier to narrow down products and generate new ideas.

After setting your configurations, you can now start searching for items. You need to select the Product Research tool icon from the left side menu bar.

In the search box on the Product Research page, enter the product you want to look for. You can also choose to configure the filters you want to use like Shipping Location, Price, and Listings.

After you set the filters, you can then click on the Search button.

The search results will provide an analysis of your keyword search, including Sale Earnings, Sell-through, and Sold Items. You can use this information to better assess market saturation and the potential of your product.

Scroll down to find the listings that match your search query. You can see the shipping location, product name, price, and other information.

To scan a seller, click on the Scan Seller icon next to the seller’s name.

A great way to leverage the functionality of manual scanning is to use it with the Scan Seller feature. You can go to a seller’s account and find all the relevant products that might be interesting for your store. You will see a similar page for the analysis of the seller with information like Items Sold and Sell through. Scroll down to see all of the listings made by the seller.

Furthermore, you can look for these products as well using the Item Finder tool, which will be thoroughly discussed in the next step.

Step 3: Use the Item Finder Feature

You can find the Item Finder feature on each product listing. It is represented by a box-like icon. Item Finder helps you find matches for the item on your source website. In this case, you will be shown items on Alibaba that are similar to the original item.

To use this feature, click on the Item Finder icon next to the product of your choice.

Here you can see the original eBay item at the top and matched products under the Similar Products on Alibaba. You can also see the prices and estimated profits for the items.

Finally, click on any listing to visit that product’s page on Alibaba.

By leveraging ZIK Analytics' manual scanning capabilities for Alibaba, you can optimize your dropshipping business by effectively scanning competitors, calculating profits, and discovering potential products. This guide has outlined the process of setting the source website to Alibaba, conducting product searches, and utilizing the Item Finder feature. Empower your dropshipping journey with ZIK Analytics and unlock new opportunities for success.
