Effortlessly research products and dropshippers on marketplaces like Amazon using ZIK Analytics' Manual Scanner & Item Finder. Discover how to leverage these powerful tools to streamline your product research process in this guide. Don't forget to check out our tutorial video for an enhanced learning experience.

Login to ZIK Analytics

To get started, log in to your ZIK Analytics account to open your dashboard.

Launch Quick Settings

In your ZIK Analytics dashboard, click the Quick Settings icon in the left side menu bar menu.

Marketplace Selection and Configuration

From the Quick Settings panel, click the drop-down menu of the Source Website and select your preferred Amazon store from the list. For this illustration, we’ve selected Amazon.com.

Once you’ve configured your source website, you’ll need to set a Break-even. While the standard break-even rate is 14%, you can adjust it to suit your strategy or expected profitability.

Click the Apply Changes button to confirm all your settings.

Search for Products

After adjusting your configurations, you can start searching for products as you would normally do using the Product Research tool. The result of the search will include: sell-through, listing, sold items, sale earnings, successful listing, average product price, searched product, and saved product, as well as a graphical representation of the results of products sold on different dates.

Key Explanations

Once you’ve run a search for products, scroll down the results to the product lists and look for the Item Finder column on the right side. You can find the three variations of Amazon box icons in this column.

  • The red box icon indicates that the item could not be found (not sold on Amazon).

  • The Amazon box icon with a green checkmark means the product is validated with 99% accuracy.

  • The Amazon box without the green checkmark means similar items

Products Sourcing

If you want to source a particular product from Amazon, click the Amazon box with a green checkmark. It will show the exact same product from Amazon, the product link, the price, and the profit which was calculated according to the break-even you set. At the top, it shows the product you’ve chosen, its price, and how many were sold.

Finding Dropshipper

Another way to use an Item finder aside from finding products is to find a dropshipper. Scroll down the product list's result and look for the Dropshipper icon.

Once you found a dropshipper, click on the Scan Seller icon and it will open a new tab for the seller Competitor Research result. This way you are sure that the seller is dropshipping from Amazon to eBay which means he has more product listings directly from Amazon.

Once you found a product you want to list, you can save it to the folder by clicking

the Save to Folder icon.

Semi-Automated Features

We can find product titles from the red box icon by using the semi-automated features.

To find titles with semi-automated features:

  • Choose a product you want to source, then click on the red box.

  • Click the Amazon icon at the top of the result page to find similar items in the marketplace. This will redirect you to your source Amazon website.

  • Look for a similar item, then scroll down to the product information section and locate and copy the ASIN number.

  • Return to the previous page and click Add ASIN Manually.

  • Paste the ASIN number in the box below and click Reload

  • ZIK will find the product using the semi-automated feature, making all the necessary calculations in the process, and showing the price and the profit

  • Click the save icon on the right-hand side of the product to add it to your folder.
