Simple answer: You cannot go over your Spending Power*.
Your Zip App Spending Power* can be found in the top right corner of your Zip App under “Spending Power.”
If your Virtual Card’s Purchase Request is too high, and above your Zip App Spending Power*, the purchase will not be approved by Zip.
If you try to charge your Zip Virtual Card more than the amount entered when creating your Purchase Request, the transaction will be declined in the merchant’s system.
If you currently have open orders in Zip’s system and to restore your Spending Power*, please try paying off any outstanding installments before attempting the purchase request again.

*Your Estimated Spending Power is a point-in-time estimate of how much you may be able to spend, is not guaranteed, and is impacted by a number of factors.
