You can update the phone number associated with your Zip account using the Zip Customer Portal. It is recommend to use your laptop/desktop computer, as opposed to your mobile device:
Sign in to the Customer Portal
Visit the customer portal and sign in using the email address associated with your Zip account.Verify your email
After signing in, you’ll receive a 6-digit code sent to your email. Enter this code to verify your identity.Verify your current phone number (only if you’re signing in from a new device)
If you're using a new device, we’ll send a 6-digit SMS code to the phone number currently linked to your account.Don’t have access to your old phone number?
Click the “Need to change your phone number?” link on this screen to begin the update process.Enter your new phone number
Type in the new mobile number you’d like to use.Verify your new number
We’ll send a 6-digit verification code to your new number. Enter this code to confirm it.Complete identity verification
For your security, we’ll ask you to complete an identity check through Veriff. Just follow the prompts on screen.
If your identity is successfully verified:
Your phone number will be updated.
You’ll be logged out of all active sessions for security.
You can sign back in using your new phone number.
If identity verification fails:
You’ll see a “Something went wrong” error message.
