ZipLeads offers its own native AI Agent suite but you can use this alternative method if you would like to connect a third party AI system. To set this up you will need to use our sister app 'LeadConnector', specifically the LeadConnector MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to securely set up this connection.

  1. Choose the URL that matches your AI client:

    Claude: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/anthropic/v2

    OpenAI (e.g., ChatGPT): https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/openai/v2/

    Muse: https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/muse/v2/

  2. Authentication
LeadConnector MCP connections use OAuth. When you connect, your AI client opens the LeadConnector sign-in page and you will need to make sure you select your ZipLeads account. You will then need to approve the requested scopes. The integration can only perform operations allowed by the scopes you grant.

  3. Connect using your client endpoint
Use the OAuth endpoint listed for your AI client. All endpoints provide access to the current active LeadConnector MCP operation catalog.

    Connecting OpenAI clients:

    • Open Settings → Security and login, then turn on Developer mode.

    • Open ChatGPT Plugins, select the plus button, and create a new plugin.

    • Enter a name and description. Under Connection, add https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/openai/v2/ as the MCP server URL and create the connection.

    • Complete the LeadConnector OAuth flow (sign in → pick sub-account(s) → approve).

    • Start a new conversation and add the LeadConnector connection from the tools menu.

    Connecting Claude:

    • Complete the LeadConnector sign-in (sign in → pick sub-account(s) → approve).

    • Your Cowork agents can now use the LeadConnector tools
