Using Activity Cards in Conversations

Activity Cards show opportunity, appointment, Do Not Disturb (DND) and invoice updates right in your conversations. You can act on them without leaving the conversation panel.

Activity Cards give you a single view of important updates, right inside your conversations. They show changes as they happen. You don't need to wait or jump between different areas of ZipLeads, so you can make quicker, better-informed decisions.

These cards bring the action to you. You can respond to, edit and manage opportunities, appointments, contact preferences and invoices without switching from one panel to another.

1. Opportunities

An activity card appears as soon as an opportunity is created, updated or deleted. This means you know about potential leads from the very start. Click View Opportunity in the card to open the opportunity and make changes from where you are.

Communication preference logs: Changes to a contact's preference status are logged in the conversation thread to give you more context. This includes changes made by the contact and changes made by a user.

2. Appointments

Whenever an appointment is created, rescheduled or cancelled, an activity card appears in the conversation panel. This keeps you up to date without juggling multiple screens. Click View Appointment in the card to edit the appointment details while staying in the conversation panel.

3. Do Not Disturb (DND)

An activity card lets you know the moment a contact is marked as "Do Not Disturb" or removed from the DND list. These cards make it clear what the contact's current preference is.

ZipLeads shows who triggered a DND status change in Conversations:

  • DND Enabled by Workflows/User/Contact for a particular channel or all channels.

  • DND Disabled by Workflows/User/Contact for a particular channel or all channels.

Use the "by" value to see where the change came from:

  • Workflows: A workflow turned DND on or off.

  • User: A team member turned DND on or off.

  • Contact: The contact turned DND on or off.

This works across all channels and needs no setup.

4. Invoices

When an invoice is sent to a contact or a payment is received, an activity card appears. Click View Invoice to open the full invoice in a new tab.
