The ZipLeads Email Builder lets you attach files directly to email campaigns. It's an easy way to share documents and supporting resources with your recipients. You can include several attachments, such as PDFs and images, when you send or schedule a campaign. Attachments are delivered with your email, so recipients can open important files straight from their inbox. This article explains how to add attachments, what the file size limits are, and how to send email campaigns with files.
What are email attachments in the ZipLeads Email Builder?
Email attachments let you include files with an email campaign, so recipients don't need to open documents through external links. This makes it easier to share supporting materials such as brochures, proposals, pricing sheets and onboarding documents.
ZipLeads lets you attach multiple files during the Send or Schedule process, with a combined attachment size limit of 10 MB.
Attachments are delivered as standard email attachments. They don't appear within the email body.
Key benefits of adding attachments to emails in the Email Builder
Adding attachments to email campaigns makes sharing documents and resources simpler. Instead of sending contacts to separate file-sharing links, you can include supporting materials directly with your email.
Simplified Workflow: Attach files when sending or scheduling email campaigns without leaving the Email Builder.
Convenient File Access: Recipients can open supporting documents directly from their inbox.
Multiple File Attachments: Include several supporting files in one email campaign, as long as their combined size is no more than 10 MB.
Flexible Use Cases: Share brochures, proposals, pricing sheets, menus, onboarding documents, forms and other useful resources.
Consistent File Delivery: Send the exact version of a document you intend, rather than relying on an external file link that could change.
Email attachment limits and delivery
Knowing the attachment limits helps you prepare your campaigns and avoid problems when adding files. ZipLeads supports multiple attachments within a combined size limit, and the files are delivered separately from the email body.
Multiple Attachments: You can attach more than one file to an email campaign.
Combined Size Limit: The total size of all attachments must not exceed 10 MB.
Email Delivery: Recipients receive the files as attachments in their email client.
Email Body Preview: Attachments don't display inside the campaign's email body.
Important: Attachment limits vary across ZipLeads features. The 10 MB combined limit applies to attachments added through the Email Builder campaign workflow. Other features, such as Conversations and Documents & Templates, have their own attachment limits.
If a file is too large to fit within the campaign attachment limit, consider hosting it elsewhere and including a link in the email instead.
How to attach files
Adding attachments while sending your campaign lets you deliver supporting documents alongside your email content. Choosing the right files and checking they've been added before you send helps make sure recipients get the right materials.
Go to Marketing → Emails → Campaigns → + New (or open the email campaign you're editing).
Open the email in the Email Builder and finish designing your email content.
Click Send or Schedule.
On the Send or Schedule screen, click Attach Files at the top of the screen.
Upload or select the files you want to attach to your campaign. You can add multiple files, as long as their combined size is no more than 10 MB.
Check that your attachments have been added before you send or schedule your campaign.
Once you've reviewed your attachments, choose one of the delivery options:
Send Now: Send the campaign straight away.
Schedule: Choose a future date and time.
Batch Schedule: Deliver emails in smaller groups over time.
RSS Schedule: Schedule campaigns using an RSS feed.
Complete the required campaign information and confirm your chosen delivery method.
