Connecting your domain to ZipLeads keeps your branding consistent across websites, funnels, emails and client-facing tools. This guide walks you through the process and explains how each product works with a connected domain. It also covers automatic and manual setup, provider-specific DNS steps and common troubleshooting.
Step-by-step domain connection process
There are two main ways to connect a domain to ZipLeads:
1. Automatic method (for supported providers)
If your domain is registered with a supported provider (like GoDaddy, Google Domains or Cloudflare), you can connect it automatically using API-based authentication.
Go to Sites > Settings > Domains in your ZipLeads account.
Choose “Connect a Domain”.
Choose the product you'd like to connect (for example, funnel, website or email).
Enter your root domain or subdomain in the field provided. If you're adding the "www" subdomain as well, you'll see an option to add the root domain.
If your domain is with Google Domains, GoDaddy or Cloudflare, you'll see an "Authorize" button. Click it to let Domain Connect access your DNS settings.
Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the authorisation on your domain provider's site. This automatically adds or connects the DNS records you need.
Once authorisation is complete, close that tab and return to the Domain Connect screen.
2. Manually adding a domain
If your domain is hosted by Namecheap, Bluehost or any provider not listed, you'll need to add the DNS records manually.
Tip: Use this option if your provider is not directly supported.
Go to Sites > Settings > Domains.
Choose “Connect a Domain".
Choose the product you'd like to connect (for example, funnel, website or email).
If you want to connect the domain to a funnel, website, blog or webinar, enter the domain name when prompted.
Click the add records manually option.
You'll be given specific DNS records (A, CNAME, TXT) to add at your domain registrar.
Log in to your domain provider (for example, Namecheap) and go to the DNS settings.
Add the records exactly as shown.
Save your changes and wait for DNS propagation (this can take up to 24 hours).

Click Save for each record.

Troubleshooting: connecting your domain

DNS records do not match
Domain is connected elsewhere
Products you can connect a domain to
Funnel / Website / Store / Webinar / Blog
Use your domain to host customer-facing pages such as funnels, ecommerce stores, webinars or blogs.
WordPress
If you're using ZipLeads' WordPress hosting, point your domain to your WordPress site using the DNS records provided.
The system will detect and validate the domain automatically once DNS setup is complete.
A domain is needed to authenticate your email sending (for example, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC).
Connecting it improves email deliverability and helps stop your messages being flagged as spam.
Branded domain (for white-labelling)
Connect a domain to brand your account with your own domain.
This replaces the default URLs with your own branding.
Client Portal
Use your custom domain to host a client-facing dashboard.
It gives your clients a branded experience when they access assets, campaigns or reports.
Notes
DNS propagation: Changes can take anywhere from a few minutes up to 24 hours to fully propagate.
SSL is set up automatically once the domain is connected and the records are correct.
You can manage all your connected domains under Settings > Domains.
If your domain shows “Pending” for more than 24 hours, double-check your DNS values or contact the ZipLeads support team.
