Tablet Mode lets you customise how your ZipLeads funnels and websites look on tablets. You can adjust text, spacing, layouts and element visibility separately from Desktop and Mobile. This guide shows you how to use Tablet Mode, customise your design and publish your changes.

Key Benefits of Tablet Mode

Tablet Mode helps you create layouts that work better across different screen sizes.

  • Tablet-Specific Styling: Adjust text size, spacing, alignment and element dimensions for tablets.

  • Independent Visibility: Choose which elements appear on Tablet, Desktop and Mobile.

  • Easy Preview: Review tablet layouts before publishing.

  • Desktop Style Inheritance: Keep your existing desktop styles until you customise them for Tablet.

Prerequisites and Limitations

Before using Tablet Mode, keep these points in mind.

  • Tablet uses desktop styles by default.

  • Settings marked (inherits desktop) share their values with Desktop. Changing these also changes Desktop.

  • Existing pages keep their previous visibility behaviour. Elements hidden on Desktop stay hidden on Tablet.

  • New pages support independent visibility settings for each device.

  • Changes appear in preview straight away, but you must republish for the new tablet styling to appear on your live page.

How To Use Tablet Mode

You can open Tablet Mode directly from the Funnel and Website Builder.

  1. In your account, click Sites in the left menu.

  2. Select Funnels or Websites.

  3. Open the funnel or website you want to edit.

  4. Select your page and click Edit.

  5. In the builder, select Tablet from the device switcher.

  6. Click the element you want to customise.

  7. Use the settings in the right sidebar to adjust supported tablet-specific properties, including:

    • Font size and line height

    • Text alignment

    • Padding and margins

    • Spacing between items

    • Width and height

    • FAQ custom options

  8. Click Save when you're finished.

Show or Hide Elements on Tablet

On new pages, you can control whether an element appears on Tablet separately from Desktop and Mobile.

  1. In your account, go to Sites, then select Funnels or Websites.

  2. Open your page and click Edit.

  3. Select the element you want to show or hide.

  4. Open the Styles tab in the right sidebar.

  5. Find the Visibility settings.

  6. Adjust the Tablet visibility option.

  7. Click Save.

Note: Pages created before Tablet Mode keep their previous visibility behaviour. Elements hidden on Desktop stay hidden on Tablet.

Preview and Publish Your Changes

Preview your tablet design to make sure everything looks right before publishing.

  1. In your account, go to Sites, then select Funnels or Websites.

  2. Open your page and click Edit.

  3. Select Tablet in the device switcher.

  4. Review your layout and open the page preview.

  5. Click Save, then Publish to update your live page. Complete any extra publishing prompts.

Important: Live pages need to be republished to get tablet styling. Republishing may also change how your page looks on larger phones, because mobile styles now cover more screen sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I hide an element only on Tablet?

Yes. New pages support independent visibility settings for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. Existing pages keep their previous visibility behaviour.

Q: Do I need to republish after changing my tablet design?

Yes. Preview shows your changes straight away, but your live page needs to be republished to get the updated tablet styling.
