ZipLeads gives you two calendar widget styles: Classic and Neo. The style controls how your booking calendar looks to your clients. Picking the right one gives your business and your customers the best booking experience. This article explains the differences, the benefits and how to set up each style.

What is the calendar widget style?

The calendar widget style sets how your booking calendar appears when you share it with leads or clients. ZipLeads offers the Classic widget and the Neo widget. Each one suits different needs and levels of customisation.

Key benefits of calendar widget styles

Knowing what each style offers helps you choose the right one for your bookings.

  • Classic style: A simple, reliable layout for quick setup and basic appointment booking.

  • Neo style: A modern, customisable layout with extra features like reordering widget steps, colour customisation, staff selection and class seat displays.

  • Flexibility: You can switch between styles when you create or edit a calendar.

  • Default for group calendars: Group calendars use the Neo widget automatically, giving a sleek group booking experience.

Classic widget

The Classic widget is built for straightforward appointment booking with a simple layout. It suits businesses that don't need much customisation or a modern design.

  • Quick to set up

  • Standard layout for single or unassigned calendars

  • Ideal if you want minimal customisation

Neo widget

The Neo widget is the newer, modern style. It's built for customisation and flexibility, and it's the default style for group calendars.

  • Customisable colours, backgrounds and buttons

  • Reorder the widget steps (Form, Date & Time, Payment)

  • Staff selection for Round Robin calendars

  • Seat display for Class Booking calendars

  • A streamlined, modern look

How to set up the calendar widget style

Choosing or changing the widget style makes sure your booking page has the design and features you want.

Classic vs Neo: things to keep in mind
