Before you can select a Stripe plan in a funnel checkout, it must exist as a product inside your ZipLeads account. If a Stripe plan is missing, its price may not have been imported yet. It may also be in Test mode, may already have been imported, or may not qualify for import. This guide explains how to import Stripe products and the most common reasons a recurring price doesn't appear.

Important

The Import From Stripe workflow applies to eligible recurring or subscription prices. One-time prices and metered recurring prices can't be imported through this workflow.

What is importing a Stripe plan for Funnel Products?

Importing a Stripe plan creates a matching ZipLeads product and recurring price in your account. You can then use the product in supported payment experiences, such as funnel order forms.

A product doesn't become selectable in a funnel just because it exists in Stripe. The eligible recurring price must first be imported into your ZipLeads account.

Key benefits of importing Stripe products

Importing an eligible Stripe price gives ZipLeads the product and pricing details it needs to use that item in supported checkouts.

  • Funnel availability: Imported products and recurring prices can be selected in supported funnel order forms.

  • Centralised product management: Imported products appear under Payments → Products in your account.

  • Recurring billing support: Eligible recurring Stripe prices can be brought into ZipLeads without rebuilding the original subscription product by hand.

Prerequisites and limitations

Check that the Stripe price meets the import requirements before troubleshooting the funnel itself. A price that isn't eligible can't be made available through this workflow.

Requirement

What it means

Recurring / Subscription price

The Stripe price must use recurring subscription billing.

Live mode

The price must exist in Stripe Live mode. Test-mode prices aren't eligible for the live import workflow.

Not metered

Metered recurring prices can't be imported through this workflow.

Not previously imported

A Stripe price that has already been imported won't appear as an option under Import From Stripe.

Correct account

Import the price into the same account where the funnel will sell the product.

One-time prices: One-time Stripe prices can't be imported through the recurring-price workflow. Create the one-time product or price directly in ZipLeads instead.

How to import a Stripe plan for Funnel Products

Import the eligible Stripe price into your ZipLeads account. Once the import is done, check the product exists under Payments before adding it to the checkout.

  • Open your ZipLeads account.

  • Select Payments from the left navigation menu.

  • Select Products.

  • Click Import From Stripe.

  • Search for the Stripe product.

  • Review the available recurring prices.

  • Select the eligible product and price you want to import.

  • Complete the import.

  • Check that the imported product appears under Payments → Products.

  • Select Sites from the left navigation menu.

  • Select Funnels.

  • Open the funnel where the product will be sold.

  • Open the order form or product configuration.

  • Select the imported ZipLeads product and recurring price.

  • Test the checkout, then save and publish the funnel.

Troubleshooting a Stripe plan that doesn't appear

Work out where the product is missing before changing anything. A plan missing from the Stripe import list has different causes from a product that's been imported but is missing from a funnel.

Issue

What to check

The price was already imported

Stripe prices that have already been imported are removed from the Import From Stripe choices. Check Payments → Products before assuming the import failed.

The price is in Stripe Test mode

The import workflow needs an eligible Live-mode Stripe price. A Test-mode price won't appear as the live recurring price used by the funnel.

The price is one-time

One-time Stripe prices can't be imported through this recurring-price workflow. Create the one-time product or price directly in ZipLeads.

The price is metered

Metered recurring prices aren't supported by the recurring Stripe price import workflow.

You're working in a different account

The product must exist under Payments → Products in the same account where the funnel is being set up.

The price was changed directly in Stripe

Changes made to pricing in Stripe don't automatically update the matching ZipLeads product or price. Import the new eligible Stripe price as a new ZipLeads product or price.

Quick check: If you can see the product under Payments → Products but not in the funnel, troubleshoot the funnel and make sure you're working in the same account. If you can't see the price under Import From Stripe, check eligibility, Live mode, whether it's already been imported, and your Stripe connection first.
