Which pricing plans can be imported?

  • Only recurring (subscription) plans can be imported. One-time prices can't be imported. You'll need to create these in ZipLeads directly.

  • To import a plan or price from Stripe, it must be in Live mode (not Test mode).

  • "Metered" prices can't be imported when you import a recurring plan or price.

  • Stripe plans and prices that are already in ZipLeads won't show as options when you use the "Import From Stripe" function, because they've already been imported.

What happens when you import a price from Stripe?

  • We import the Stripe product that's linked to the price, and create it in ZipLeads if it doesn't already exist.

  • We create the price under that product.

  • We also create the same product and price in Stripe Test mode and in PayPal (if your PayPal integration is connected).

How prices behave depends on where they were created

1. Prices created by adding a product in ZipLeads:

  • When you create a product in ZipLeads, a matching plan or price is created in Stripe.

  • Any edits you make to a product's pricing in ZipLeads sync to Stripe automatically by creating a new price in Stripe. This is because Stripe doesn't allow existing prices to be edited.

  • Edits you make to pricing in Stripe won't sync to ZipLeads automatically. You'll need to import the changed price into ZipLeads as a new product.

2. Prices you created directly in Stripe:

  • If you've created plans or prices in Stripe, use the "Import From Stripe" button to import them into ZipLeads as ZipLeads products.

  • If you need to change an imported product's price, make the change in ZipLeads. It will sync to Stripe by creating a new price in Stripe.

  • If you edit an imported plan or price in Stripe, the change won't show in the ZipLeads product. You'll need to import the changed plan or price as a new ZipLeads product.
