This article will show you how to set internal reminders for calls either with SMS, email or app notifications. In a workflow such as a phone call booked workflow, you can set reminders to the lead for that call however you can also set reminders for yourself.

To do this, follow the below steps:

  1. Open up the workflow you would like to add this reminder to and click the ‘+’ icon to add a new action where you would like this notification to be sent

  2. Select the action titled ‘Send Internal Notification’

  3. Select the type of notification you would like to be sent. You can select either Email, SMS or an App Notification

  4. Rename your action to include the type of notification you selected

  5. Set the notification title. This is the text that will show on the notification when it pops up on your device (this is relevant only if app notification is selected)

  6. Add your notification note. This can include custom values so you know who the call is with and contain any information you would like

  7. Select the redirect page. This is the page that will open up when you swipe to open the notification directly on your phone (this is relevant only if app notification is selected)

  8. Select the user type, this is who you want the notification to send to

  9. Once complete, save the action and the workflow.

You can add in internal notifications at any point in a workflow. It is important to note that if you want them sent to you at a specific time or not at the same time as the lead receives their notification, you need to set up wait steps within the workflow so the notification is triggered at the time you wish.
