This video walks through how to set up some common automations when a form is the trigger in a workflow.
Note that you can use the additional filters to set special conditions so that the trigger only activates depending on a specific response.
For example, if you asked for gender, you could have one trigger activate for MEN and another for WOMEN.
First of all, if you have not already, you will need to set up a form in your Zipleads account that, when a contact completes this form, will trigger the actions in this workflow.
Go to Automation then select create new workflow and choose the 'Start From Scratch' option.
2. Rename your workflow to something relevant to what the workflow is doing. e.g. 28 Day Kickstart Form Completed.
3. Then select 'Add New Trigger', and on the right hand side search for 'form' and select 'Form Submitted'.
4. Select the 'Add filters' option and click the dropdown and select the 'form is' option. Then click the next dropdown and specify form you want to trigger this workflow.
5A. Rename the trigger name and save this action.
5B. *OPTIONAL*. If you have custom fields within the form you have created and you only want contacts who have answered in a specific way to come through this workflow, you can add an additional filter to the trigger. For example, if a question you had in the form was asking the gender of the contact, you could set the additional filter to be only if they have answered male or the female.
Click 'Add filters':
Click the 'Select' Dropdown and choose your custom field:
Then select the answer of the contacts you want to come through this workflow:
6. Add any actions to this workflow that you need. Examples could include tags, internal notifications, emails, SMS etc. To add an action, click on the + icon and then select your action on the right hand menu that will appear.
7. Once you have all your required actions complete you can publish and save this workflow.
