This guide covers how to attach a product to a funnel's order page in ZipLeads, add and configure the Two Step Order checkout element, switch on an order bump, and preview the finished checkout before publishing. Use this when a funnel page needs to take payment.
Before you start
A payment integration (such as Stripe) connected to the sub-account
At least one product with a price created under Payments > Products
An existing funnel with an order page step
1. Check your products and prices exist
Open Payments > Products and confirm the product you want to sell is listed with a price.
Use Create New Product (top right) if it is missing
Use Import From Stripe if the product already exists in Stripe
Tip: Always create and edit products and prices in ZipLeads - it syncs them to Stripe/PayPal automatically.
Watch out: Editing a product or price directly in Stripe/PayPal creates a duplicate and causes data inconsistency.
2. Attach the product to the funnel's order page
Open the funnel and select the order page step, then open the Products tab (top right of the step panel).
Click to add a product, then fill in Product name and, optionally, Price display override
Choose the item in the Product dropdown and pick the matching entry in the Price dropdown
Click Save
Tip: Price display override only changes the text shown on the order form, not the amount charged.
3. Open the page editor
Go back to the Overview tab of the funnel step and click Edit under the Control thumbnail to open the page builder.
4. Add or select the Two Step Order element
In the builder, click into the order form area so the Two Step Order Settings panel opens on the left. If the element is not on the page yet, add it from Elements in the top toolbar and drop it into a row.
5. Style the form on the General tab
On the General tab of Two Step Order Settings, set the look of the checkout:
Element name / title, Text align
Button color, Button text color, Button size, Button style
Form background color, Form corners and Typography type
6. Configure the form fields on the Advanced tab
Switch to the Advanced tab and use the Step #1 and Step #2 buttons to edit each stage of the form.
Set Step #1 headline and Step #1 sub headline
Use the toggle dropdowns, such as Toggle Company Name (Show / Hide Company Name) and Toggle Phone, to decide which fields appear
Edit the placeholder text for Full name, Email address and Phone number
Tip: Hide any fields you don't need - a shorter form usually converts better.
7. Turn on the order bump
Scroll down the Advanced tab to Order Bump Options and switch Enable Order Bump on.
Click the pencil icon next to Bump Headline to edit the bump's headline, text and product
Use + Add More if you want more than one bump
Review the other toggles here: Sticky contact, New contact on every purchase and Validate disposable email
Tip: Button footer text just above this section controls the small reassurance line under the button (for example "We Respect Your Privacy & Information").
8. Save and preview the page
Click Save (top right of the builder), then click Preview to open the live order page in a new tab.
9. Test step 1 of the checkout
On the preview, fill in the contact fields with test details and click Go To Step #2.
10. Check step 2, the order bump and payment
On step 2, confirm the product and Order Summary are correct, then tick the Bump Headline checkbox and check the bump product and its price appear in the summary.
Scroll down to Card Information and the Complete Order button to confirm the payment section renders
Tip: The TEST MODE badge next to the card field confirms you are not taking a real payment.
Watch out: Only run live card tests once the page is published and the payment integration is out of test mode.
11. Return to the funnel and publish
Close the preview and go back to the funnel step. Use the Publishing tab to make the page live once you are happy with the checkout.
Notes
Product and price changes made in ZipLeads sync automatically to the connected payment provider.
The order bump appears on step 2 of the Two Step Order form, above the card details.
