This article will explain how to use URL Redirects. There are three different redirect types: URL, Funnel or Website.
URL:
This allows you to redirect one URL to another URL.
Navigate to ‘URL Redirects’ in Settings
Click on the blue ‘+ Add a Redirect’ button in the top right corner of the page. This will then bring up a popup where you can enter in your redirect information
Under ‘Domain’, select your domain
Under ‘Path’ enter in the old path you are wanting to be redirected from. This is the part of the URL after your domain. For example, if the URL you are wanting to redirect is tutorialfunnel.com/old-path, you would enter in here /old-path
Under ‘Redirect type’, select ‘URL’
Under ‘Target URL’, enter in the new URL you are wanting the old one to be redirected to. The domain you are redirecting to must already be configured in your account for this to work
Click on the blue ‘Add Redirect’ button. This will then add your redirect.
Funnel:
This allows you to redirect a URL to a step in an existing funnel within your account.
Navigate to ‘URL Redirects’ in Settings
Click on the blue ‘+ Add a Redirect’ button in the top right corner of the page. This will then bring up a popup where you can enter in your redirect information
Under ‘Domain’, select your domain
Under ‘Path’ enter in the old path you are wanting to be redirected from. This is the part of the URL after your domain. For example, if the URL you are wanting to redirect is tutorialfunnel.com/old-path, you would enter in here /old-path
Under ‘Redirect type’, select ‘Funnel’
Under ‘Funnel’ select the funnel you want to redirect to
Under ‘Step’ you can select the step in this funnel specifically this will be redirected to
Click on the blue ‘Add Redirect’ button. This will then add your redirect.
Website:
This allows you to redirect a URL to a website within the platform. Only websites linked to a domain can be used here.
Navigate to ‘URL Redirects’ in Settings
Click on the blue ‘+ Add a Redirect’ button in the top right corner of the page. This will then bring up a popup where you can enter in your redirect information
Under ‘Domain’, select your domain
Under ‘Path’ enter in the old path you are wanting to be redirected from. This is the part of the URL after your domain. For example, if the URL you are wanting to redirect is tutorialfunnel.com/old-path, you would enter in here /old-path
Under ‘Redirect type’, select ‘Website’
Under ‘Website’, select the marketplace from the dropdown
Under ‘Website Page’, select the website page you want to redirect to
Click on the blue ‘Add Redirect’ button. This will then add your redirect.
