If you receive lead notifications via an email managed by Google Mail you can have these leads automatically connected to ZipLeads and into your workflows.
Simply follow the steps in this video to get connected.
Go to 'Connections on the left side menu.
2. Select the 'Gmail' tile when the page loads.
3.Click on the 'edit' icon in the top right corner. Then type in your email that you receive email notifications to. Do not worry about the 'from email' field for now.
4. Click the '+ Add New' button.
5. Here we want to add the subject line of the emails you want to capture. It does not have to be an exact match but there does need to at least be a partial match to the subject line. This field is case sensitive so please make sure you match up the capital letters correctly. e.g. New lead
6. To the right of the subject line is the option to add a tag to these new contacts. it will automatically tag them as 'gmail' and you can select more tags if you want to.
7. Once you have done this click the submit button.
8. This should then say success and you will have the option to authenticate your email. Click the 'Authenticate Email' button this will then prompt you to log in to your gmail. Select the right account and log in.
9. Depending on what browser you are using you may see this page pop up. This is fine if you see this page. If you do see it, click the advanced button.
10. From here click the go to ziplineplatform.com link.
10. If you are prompted with any checkboxes, make sure they are all checked so the connection can function properly. The press continue.
11. Then it will ask you to approve that you trust this application - again, click continue.
12. It should then "Successfully completed your gmail authentication." Now go back to the previous tab you had open in Zipleads and refresh your page.
13. You should now see your page say "Email Authenticated".
14. If you can, try doing a test for this by filling out a form that would go to your email usually and you should see the contact appear in Zipleads with the tag gmail and anything else you chose to tag them with.
