This article will explain how you can create a coupon code which will enable you to provide discounts on your checkout pages.
Click through to Payments > Coupons.
Here is where you can see all of your existing coupons you have including active, scheduled and expired coupons.
To create a new coupon, follow the below steps:
Click ‘+ Create Coupon’
Enter in the coupon name and the coupon code. You also have the option to click the ‘generate’ button which will generate a random code for you
Select your coupon type. This can be either a percentage coupon meaning it is a certain perfect off the original price or a fixed coupon which is a dollar amount off the original price
Enter in your discount amount under ‘discount offered
Select your start date. This is the date your code will become active. Select a start time if you wish for the code to go live at a certain time on the start date
Select an end date/time if you want the coupon code to expire. If not, you can leave these fields blank and the code will remain active
If you wish for the code to only be used a certain number of times, you can check the ‘Limit the total number of times the coupon can be redeemed’ checkbox. Here is where you can enter the amount of uses you would like
If you would like the code to only work for specific products, you can check the ‘Limit to selected products on which the coupon can be applied’ checkbox. Here is where you can select the product you would like it to be active for
Click ‘Create’. This will then create your new coupon.
Now, in order for your code to be redeemed on a checkout page, you need to head to Sites and click into the payment funnel in question and edit the order page you have created. Click onto your order form and toggle to the ‘Advanced’ tab. From here, you can toggle on ‘Enable Coupon Codes’. This will now allow you to accept coupon codes on this particular page.
You can then save the funnel page and test the page:
