My Opportunities Aren’t Showing

This video will cover some common reasons as to why your opportunities aren't showing in your pipeline.

This article covers common fixes for when opportunities are missing from a pipeline in ZipLeads. These include: clearing advanced filters, clearing the search bar, and removing the default Status filter that hides won, lost and abandoned opportunities.

1. Open the pipeline that's missing opportunities

  • Go to Opportunities and make sure the correct pipeline is chosen in the drop-down at the top left (for example, AAA Phone Call Pipeline).

  • Check the opportunity count next to the drop-down, if it reads 0 opportunities, work through the checks below.

Step 1

2. Check for active advanced filters

Click Advanced Filters at the top left of the board. The filter panel slides out from the right and lists any filters that are currently applied (for example, a Created on date range).

Step 2

3. Remove any unwanted filters

  • In the filter panel, click the trash can icon to the right of a filter to delete it.

  • To clear everything at once, click Clear all filters.

  • Close the panel — your opportunities should now appear on the board.

Step 3

4. Clear the search bar

  • Look at the Search box at the top right of the board.

  • If there's any text in it, delete it to show all of your leads again.

  • If the box already looks empty but opportunities are still missing, type a few characters and then delete them again, this clears any cached search data.

Tip: Typing and then deleting text is a quick way to force the board to refresh its search.

5. Check whether an automation has changed the opportunity status

If the missing opportunities are ones you dragged into a particular stage, you may have an automation that updates the opportunity status when they reach that stage. In this example, moving a contact into the Became member stage automatically marks the opportunity as won, so the card disappears from the board.

Watch out: By default a pipeline only shows open opportunities, so anything marked won, lost or abandoned will vanish from view.

6. Remove the default Status filter

  • Click Advanced Filters again.

  • Find the filter that reads Status: is Open, this is the default filter applied to every pipeline.

  • Click the trash can icon next to it to remove it.

Step 6

Notes

  • The Status: is Open filter is applied by default, which is why won, lost and abandoned opportunities don't appear until you remove it.
