To use Zirtue, you’ll need to meet a few basic requirements:

  1. Be located in the United States
Zirtue is only available for users physically located within the U.S. Both borrowers and lenders must reside and operate in the United States.

  2. Have a U.S. bank account
You’ll need a U.S.-based checking account or debit card to send or receive payments through Zirtue.

  3. Meet age requirements

    • Under 13 years old: You are not permitted to use Zirtue. If a user under 13 creates an account, it will be deleted immediately in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

    • Ages 13–17: You may only use Zirtue with parental or guardian consent. Any linked bank account must be jointly opened and managed with a parent or legal guardian.

    • 18 and older: You can use Zirtue independently.

  4. Use a valid U.S. phone number or email address
You’ll need either to sign up, verify your identity, and manage your account.
