Contact the lender: Be proactive and call the lender before your next payment is due. The lender may be able to provide some relief — such as a temporary deferment of loan payments or even loan forgiveness — if you explain your situation.
It’s always better for you to bite the bullet and deal with it, and go to the lender for help instead of harming the relationship.
Is Zirtue responsible for the payment or repayments of my loan?
Zirtue is a digital contract between two parties.
Zirtue is not liable in cases where:
The Lender accepts a loan and fails to pay the Borrower or,
The Borrower fails to make repayments to the Lender or,
The Borrower fails to pay off a loan.
Zirtue is not a lender and does not offer or provide any loan guarantees or repayment guarantees.
Zirtue is not affiliated with credit at all, so your credit score will not be impacted for failing to pay off a loan.
