Instantly connect your Bank Account.

For a quick path to connect to a U.S. bank account, follow the steps below:

Locating Instant Account Verification (IAV).

  • In your Zirtue app, tap the "Add payment method" tab on the homepage, and then click on "Bank account"

  • A bottom sheet will appear requiring you to choose between "Instant Verification" and "Manual Verification". Choose "Instant Verification".

  • The following bottom sheet will detail our partnership with Checkbook.io, a payment processor that allows us to verify your banking information. Tap Continue.

Logging into your bank account with IAV.

Next, you'll just need to locate and verify your bank account by providing the same username and password that you use to access this account external to Zirtue.

NOTE:

Not all banks are eligible for IAV. If your bank is eligible, you will be prompted to add your online banking username and password (or additional identification information) after you have selected your bank.

If the process is protected by multi-factor authentication, also known as MFA, some additional questions need to be answered in order to connect. Once the connection is established, the bank account can be added instantly to the list of accounts available.

I'm having trouble adding my bank account.

You'll have 5 or fewer attempts to connect your bank account depending on our assessment risk. If you're having trouble connecting your account, you can try one of the following:

  1. Reach out to your bank account to ensure the account has not been flagged or frozen.

  2. Double-check your login credentials. You may be asked to verify an email, or phone, add a pin number, or complete extended steps to authentication.

  3. Verify manually using your account and routing number.

  4. Reach out to customer support, we're curious to know what's going on and how you're feeling about the process.
