How we protect the community from fraud.
Four steps that we take to protect the Zirtue community from fraud.
Identifying borrowers and lenders. Before allowing anyone to create or accept a loan, we know to know that you are who you say you are. Our first step is to verify the information you’ve provided us during registration: your date of birth, address, and government-issued ID number.
Performing due diligence. If the identity is verified, we then perform an additional layer of screening against various global and government watchlists.
Review of Loan Limitations. This is followed by a programmatic review of your account’s restrictions. Transaction limits, loan limits, connected accounts, and the very same review of your borrower or lender.
Maintain regular ongoing monitoring. We understand that things change over time. To ensure that steps 1-3 uphold, we frequently monitor accounts to remain up-to-date on changes so that we can react quickly and properly when and if your account is flagged as a risk.
