Kiosk mode is our most popular form of taking attendance in RainMaker! It allows your members to check themselves in for class, leaving your staff free to attend to other matters!

Using Kiosk Mode in the RainMaker Mobile App is a great way to make sure you iPad/tablet is only being used for kiosk attendance because the app can be locked into Kiosk Mode, so no one can exit the Kiosk without a password.

Before you begin, make sure to download the RainMaker Mobile App form your App Store or PlayStore!

To set up the Kiosk in the RainMaker Mobile App:

Simply log in and click the hamburger menu on the top, left-hand side of the app screen.

From there, tap "Settings"  (You will have to have Owner/Admin User Role to access the Settings, just like in the Desktop version of RainMaker.)

Then you'll tap "Kiosk Setup"

Make sure to Enable your Kiosk

Choose if you want the sound turned on so there is a chime when the students check in.

Then add in a password by clicking "Attendance Kiosk Password" and typing in your desired password, confirming it. Then press save.

You may also add in a greeting that will display above the search bar for student names.

From here, you can go back to Settings, click the Hamburger Menu, and navigate around your RainMaker Mobile App.
