When you are looking in your Text Message Logs, you may notice the status of a message showing as "Waiting to be Sent."
This can happen for several reasons:
1. The text message was flagged as a duplicate. In this case, the message will not send.
2. - There may be an incorrect phone number, or there may not be a phone number in the "Mobile Phone" field. So check to make sure that the mobile number field is filled out properly and that it is actually a mobile number entered in that section.
3. - They may not be subscribed to SMS Messaging on their profile.
If you go to a contact (prospect, student, etc) and click the "Edit" button (under top navigation bar, to the left hand side) and scroll down to subscriptions. You will notice the ability to turn on and turn off certain functions like SMS , mailing "mailed newsletters" and even "email newsletters." Make sure the Box next to "SMS Text Message Enabled" is checked. Then click "Save."
