What is Auto Swipe?

Auto Swipe is a new Beta feature that automatically advances story pages during recording. Instead of manually swiping to the next page, Zoog will do it for you after a set number of seconds — perfect for keeping the story flowing while your hands are busy!

How to Enable Auto Swipe

Follow these simple steps to turn on Auto Swipe:

  1. Open the Zoog app and go to the Profile tab.

  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top corner.

  3. Scroll down to find "Auto Swipe" — you'll see a Beta badge next to it.

Choose Your Timing

Tap on Auto Swipe to choose how long Zoog waits before automatically advancing to the next page:

  • Disabled — Auto Swipe is off. You swipe manually as usual.

  • After 4 seconds — Pages advance quickly, great for shorter lines.

  • After 5 seconds — A balanced pace for most stories (default).

  • After 6 seconds — A slower pace, giving more time to read and act out each line.

How It Looks During Recording

Once Auto Swipe is enabled, start recording a story as you normally would. You'll notice the pages advance automatically after your chosen time interval. The story script stays on screen so you always know your next line — just focus on performing!

Tips

  • You can still manually swipe forward even with Auto Swipe enabled — it won't interfere.

  • Try different timing options to find what works best for your reading pace.

  • Auto Swipe is especially useful when recording with younger children who need your hands free.

As this is a Beta feature, we'd love your feedback! Let us know how Auto Swipe works for you.
