What is the Zumba® Cruise?

The Zumba® Cruise is a one-of-a-kind fitness vacation where you’ll dance, sweat, and party with the best Zumba® instructors, presenters, and fellow Zumba lovers—all while sailing to exciting destinations.

When and where is the Zumba® Cruise happening?

The Zumba® Cruise will take place March 9–13, 2026, aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Pearl. The ship will depart from the Port of Miami and sail to Cozumel, Mexico.


Is the Zumba® Cruise open to everyone?

Yes! The Zumba® Cruise is open to ZIN™ Members, students, and anyone who loves Zumba® or wants a fun and active vacation. You don’t need to be an instructor to join—just bring your love for dance and movement.


Can I bring friends or family members who aren’t into Zumba® classes?

Absolutely. The Cruise has plenty to offer for those who just want to relax, explore, or enjoy entertainment options beyond the fitness fun. See a full list of Cruise activities on the Things To Do section.


How is the Zumba® Cruise different from a regular cruise?

This is a private charter, meaning the entire ship is dedicated to Zumba® lovers. We curate a schedule full of Master Classes, themed parties, special performances, and exclusive activities you won’t find on a regular cruise.


What’s the difference between the Zumba® Cruise and the ZIN™ Convention?

The Zumba® Cruise is a 4-night, 5-day themed vacation on the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Pearl, bringing together the global Zumba® community for an unforgettable experience at sea. The entire ship is chartered exclusively for Zumba® lovers, creating a vibrant and inspiring environment where every guest shares a common passion. It’s like a family vacation with fellow ZIN™ Members and Zumba® fans. The entire Cruise experience is centered around the Zumba® community and lifestyle.

By contrast, the ZIN™ Convention remains Zumba’s premier educational event, created exclusively for ZIN™ Members to deepen their knowledge, enhance their skills, and grow as instructors.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes! We offer flexible payment plans so you can secure your spot with a deposit and pay in installments leading up to the Cruise.


What payment options are available?

You can cruise for as little as $300 down and pay the rest later! There are multiple payment options available, making it easy for cruisers with every budget to plan their ultimate vacation. Click here for payment option details.


If I choose monthly payments as my payment option, how does the automatic billing work?

The Monthly Automatic Billing Plan (recurring billing) allows guests to establish an evenly divided payment schedule up front. Upon enrolling, guests are required to pay a deposit upfront to confirm their booking. Zumba® then automatically charges the guest’s authorized credit card on file for the applicable charges on the scheduled dates (15th of every month or first business day thereafter). Because the payments are evenly divided, guests are not faced with a large final payment. There is no additional charge for selecting the Monthly Automatic Billing Plan. The final payment will be processed on or about January 15, 2026.


If I choose the 1 Deposit & 2 Additional Payment Plan as my payment option, how does the automatic billing work?

Upon enrolling, guests are required to pay a deposit upfront to confirm their booking. Zumba® then automatically charges the guest’s authorized credit card on file for the second deposit (50% of the remaining balance due) on or about September 15, 2025, and a final payment due on or about January 15, 2026. There is no additional charge for selecting the Three Payment Automatic Billing Plan.


What PayPal payment options are available to me?

There are several payment options available through PayPal, depending on your country: Split payments, PayPal Credit, Pay Later + more! Log in to your PayPal account to see what is available in your area. A soft credit check may be needed when using a Pay Later payment option. For Pay Later, see terms here. What is included in the price of the Zumba® Cruise?

Your fare includes:

  • Accommodations on the NCL Pearl

  • All Zumba® classes and Master Classes, and evening events

  • Meals at complimentary dining venues

  • Select non-alcoholic beverages

  • Access to pool, fitness center, and onboard entertainment

  • The ability to relax + recharge (or keep the party going!) with plenty to do at sea.

Should I purchase travel insurance for this trip?

Yes! We highly recommend protecting yourself by purchasing travel insurance. You can explore coverage options and purchase a plan here.

Travel insurance can help cover unexpected events such as travel or cruise cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and more. Be sure to review the coverage details carefully to choose the plan that best fits your needs.


What is the cancellation policy for the Zumba® Cruise?

The Zumba® Cruise is non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds for cancellations; no exceptions. Your deposit and any other payments you make and your attendance on the Zumba® Cruise confirms that you accept and agree to all Zumba® Cruise 2026 Terms and Conditions including our cancellation policy (included in the Zumba® Cruise 2026 Terms and Conditions). Zumba® strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance to avoid financial loss due to unforeseen circumstances, including emergencies.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Please email zumbacruise@zumba.com to cancel your reservation.

If you purchased travel insurance, you must contact your travel insurance directly to submit a claim and request a refund after you’ve notified our customer service support team of your cancellation in writing.


What types of cabins are available on the Zumba® Cruise?

We offer a range of accommodations, including:

  • Interior staterooms (budget-friendly)

  • Balcony cabins (private outdoor space)

  • Suites and The Haven (luxury accommodations)


Can I choose my cabin location?

Yes, you can select your preferred cabin when booking, subject to availability.


Are there accessible (ADA) rooms available on the Zumba® Cruise?

Yes! Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers a variety of accessible staterooms designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs. These rooms feature wider doorways, roll-in showers, grab bars, and other accessible features to ensure a comfortable cruising experience.

Is Wi-Fi available onboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available for purchase onboard. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers various internet packages to stay connected during your trip.


What kind of classes will be offered?

Expect a variety of classes, including:

Who will be teaching classes aboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Do I need to register for classes in advance?

Most classes are first-come, first-served, but some may require sign-ups. Details will be provided before the Cruise.


Will there be themed parties aboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Yes! Each night features a different themed party with DJs, live music, and dancing. Pack accordingly. We’ll be announcing the official themes closer to the Cruise.


Are there non-Zumba® activities aboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Absolutely! You can enjoy:

  • Theater shows

  • Live music

  • Karaoke

  • Casino games

  • Trivia and other fun activities


What documents do I need to board the Zumba® Cruise?

All guests are responsible for bringing the proper travel documents, such as a valid passport and/or government-issued identification. View the latest information on the documents you will need from Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) at ncl.com/traveldocs.

Remember, at the time of booking, you acknowledge that the laws that regulate the necessary travel documentation are subject to change and that it is your sole and exclusive responsibility to be aware of what is required for travel and to have those documents in place and with you. Entry requirements may vary based on your country of residence, so you should check with your local government or with Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) for the most up-to-date information. What time should I arrive at the port?

Check-in and boarding times will be shared closer to departure, but we recommend arriving at least three (3) hours before departure.


What if my flight is delayed and I miss the ship?

We strongly recommend arriving a day before embarkation to avoid travel delays. Travel insurance is also advised in case of unexpected situations.


Can kids come on the Zumba® Cruise?

Absolutely! Kids are welcome to join the fun on the Zumba® Cruise. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers a youth club onboard with games, activities, and entertainment just for kids, so there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy!


What’s the alcohol policy aboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Guests must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to consume alcohol. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers beverage packages for unlimited drinks during the Cruise. For more information, click here.


Is there medical assistance onboard the Zumba® Cruise?

Yes, there is a medical center onboard. However, any treatment may come at an additional cost, so travel insurance is advised.


Do I need to book excursions in advance?

Booking in advance is recommended as popular shore excursions sell out. You can book through Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) or opt for independent tours. Excursions will be available to book 4-6 weeks before sailing. Once you have your Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) reservation number, you'll be all set to choose your adventures!


What happens if I miss the ship at a port?

You’ll need to arrange transportation to the next port at your own expense. Be sure to return on time.


What should I pack?

Yes, laundry and dry-cleaning services are available for an additional fee.

Is airfare included in the price of the Cruise?

No, airfare is not included in the price of the Cruise.


Can I request a roommate if I’m traveling solo?

We currently do not offer a roommate matching program. Solo travelers are welcome to book a single occupancy cabin or connect with friends in the Zumba® community to coordinate a shared room.
