If you are unable to attend your instructor training course, there are multiple options available for you! You can transfer, place your credits on hold, or cancel the registration directly from the website.
Depending on the program you registered for:
Visit the Zumba Training History page or the STRONG Nation Training History page. (You'll be prompted to log in to your account.)
Next, click on the Options button to select Transfer, Place On Hold, or Cancel.
Option 1: Transfer immediately out of your current training into an available training course.
Keep in mind that you cannot transfer into a sold-out training.
You will be responsible for a $30 USD transfer fee and any price difference between the instructor training courses.
Option 2: Place your training fees on hold and use them toward a future training.
If there are no current training courses available, you can keep your registration fees on hold for up to one year from your original registration date.
You may receive a refund of your credits on hold if you do not use them within a year, but a cancellation fee will apply at that time.
After one calendar year from the date you originally registered, your ability to transfer expires, and you forfeit your funds that were on hold.
Option 3: Cancel your training and request a refund.
A $75 USD cancellation fee will apply for all cancellation requests before or any time after your training date.
Please note there is an additional $15 USD processing fee for any changes made over the phone.
Trainings Changed or Cancelled by Zumba
When a training is changed or cancelled by the Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) or Master Trainer (MT), you'll need to talk to a person for special assistance with your request.
Let us know if you wish to transfer, place your credits on hold, or cancel the registration so we can help you get this resolved quickly.
If you've decided to transfer your registration, visit the Find a Training page and let us know which training you wish to attend. Please provide the date, location, and the name of the instructor to ensure we transfer you to the correct training.
Pending Registrations
If your registration is marked as "Pending", this means your payment has not yet been processed by your bank or payment provider.
To check the status of a pending payment:
To check the status of a pending payment, you will need to contact your payment provider (e.g., PayPal, OXXO, etc.) to confirm if the payment has been processed and completed. If it's still pending, you may need to resolve any issues with the provider.
Since Zumba does not process these payments directly, we cannot cancel a pending payment. If you wish to cancel it, contact your bank or payment provider directly.
Once Zumba receives the payment, your registration will be updated from "Pending" to "Registered". We cannot change the status until the payment is received.
How to Cancel a Pending Registration:
You may cancel a pending registration via the Zumba Training History page or the STRONG Nation Training History page. Simply click on the Options button and then select "Cancel". However, this will not cancel any actual payment you made for this training. You should only cancel your pending registration if you are certain you did not complete the payment for this training or that your bank will not be able to finalize the payment.
