The display name/date of a document will change the name and date displayed on the generated index.
These can be changed inline by clicking on the name, or date in the document row and typing in your desired name/date. When hovering your mouse over the will become underlined in yellow to indicate you can change this.
When changing the display date, you can also use a date picker instead of typing in your desired date:
The date field is not limited to a specific date format, you are also able to use any string of text:
