You can turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) the "Two-factor authentication" section of your account settings. This is recommended to increase the security on your account.

To find this, first click your avatar in the top right and select "My Account".

With your account settings open, navigate to the "Two-factor authentication" page. From here, you can add a 2FA method by clicking the "Add" button.

After clicking the "Add" button you will be presented with a QR code and key. You can scan this code on your chosen 2FA app or alternatively type the key in.

Your 2FA app will then provide you with a verification code. Type this into the "Verification code" field and click "Verify" to finish the setup.

After verifying, you will get 10 recovery codes. We recommend selecting the "Copy to clipboard" option that appears in the notification area and storing these in a safe place. If you lose access to your 2FA device, you will require these recovery codes to recover your account. Each code can only be used once.

Two-factor authentication is now enabled on your account. You can navigate back to the 2FA section in your account settings to remove 2FA or reset your recovery codes.
