Funding your Coast Account with Wise.com (International)

How to fund your Coast digital account with $$$ from anywhere supported by Wise.com

While we are building out additional payment infrastructure, we are HIGHLY recommending that you fund your Coast account using Wise.com.

The benefits include: 

1. Speed - users globally are getting funds as fast as next-day.

2. Cost - users globally are getting funds in their Coast account for < 0.5%.

3. Sovereignty - we don't store any of your payment information.

4. Options - you can fund your Wise.com account with multiple different local transfer methods specific to your country.

5. Withdrawals - Wise will allow you to ACH out of your Coast account any time.

6. Recurring Payments - Wise provides the ability to schedule recurring sends.

It probably seems strange for us to be sending you off our platform. But ultimately after considerable effort, we have determined that this is the best process to get as much of your money onto PulseChain as possible.

1. Create a Wise.com Account

2. Select Account Type

3. Choose Account Location

4. Verify with Phone

5. Complete 2FA

6. The Wise.com Dashboard

7. Login to your External Online Banking

In this example we will be using one of the largest banks in Australia to demonstrate how easy it is to use local bank to bank transfers through wise.com - but keep in mind that they provide very similar services in more than 150 countries. Your local bank is very likely supported no matter where you are.

8. Login to your Coast Account

9. Click Deposit / Withdraw

10. View Wise.com Details

When you click Deposit Cash, Wise.com will load as the first option for deposits. This drawer contains ALL the information you will need to fund your digital account using Wise.com.

Please note that the recipient name is CTS Global LLC NOT your name.

11. View Wise.com Recipients

12. Add A Recipient

If you have previously deposited to Coast, DO NOT USE the old Fortress Trust LLC account. This account no longer exists and will likely result in the funds being returned to your Wise.com account.

12a. Select Their Currency

Select the option "USD United States Dollar".

12b. Enter Bank Details

Select the option to add a recipient by entering their bank details.

12c. Who's The Recipient?

Select the 'Someone Else' option

12d. Bank Details

When adding a recipient be sure to select ACH option. Do not select Wire or Swift as these methods will incur higher fees. Also note that we suggest putting "Checking" as you are sending $$$ to an operating business account in the USA. Then just enter the information you find on the deposit screen.

12e. Recipient Address

Use the address provided on the deposit screen.

13. View New Recipient

14. Nickname Your Account

15. Save as "CTS Global LLC"

16. View Recipient

If you have created the recipient correctly in Wise, it should look something like this:

17. Start A Transfer

18. Select Funding Method

19. Note the Total Fees

20. Select Recipient Account

21a. Review Transfer Details

21b. Enter Reference Code

Please note - to have your account credited automatically, you MUST use the unique reference code provided on the deposit screen. If you fail to do this, we will need to confirm your deposit and this could take 3-5 business days.

We have heard that Revolut.com is another excellent borderless payment platform that can be used to fund your Coast account.
