General Drawdown and Loss Limits

General Drawdown and Loss Limits

Drawdown and loss limits depend entirely on your account type. There is no single answer. Find your plan below.

Two things vary by plan: whether you have a Daily Loss Limit (DLL) on top of your Maximum Loss Limit (MLL), and how your drawdown moves.

Evaluation Accounts (any type)

Most evaluations carry a Maximum Loss Limit only, with no Daily Loss Limit. The exception is the 1-DAY PASS, where you can add an optional Daily Loss Limit at purchase on the 50K and above.

INSTANT PRIME accounts are funded on purchase and are not evaluations.

INSTANT PRIME

A Maximum Loss Limit and a Daily Loss Limit at every size. End-of-day trailing. Funded on purchase, no evaluation.

INSTANT CORE

A Maximum Loss Limit and a Daily Loss Limit at every size. End-of-day trailing. Funded on purchase, no evaluation.

1-DAY PASS

A Maximum Loss Limit on both the evaluation and the funded account, plus an optional Daily Loss Limit chosen at purchase — available on the 50K, 100K and 150K only. The 25K has no DLL option. End-of-day trailing.

DAILY EOD

A Maximum Loss Limit and a Daily Loss Limit on the funded account. Hitting the DLL is a soft breach — trading pauses until the next session. End-of-day trailing.

STATIC

A Maximum Loss Limit and no Daily Loss Limit. The drawdown is static: set on day one and it never trails upward, identical on the evaluation and once funded.

ORIGIN

Discontinued August 2026, closed to new purchases. Existing funded ORIGIN accounts continue under the same rules: a Maximum Loss Limit, no Daily Loss Limit, end-of-day trailing.
