Understanding Your Buffer
Once you're funded, a buffer sits above your starting balance.
Account Size | Buffer |
$10K | $600 |
$25K | $1,100 |
$50K | $2,100 |
The buffer is a fixed, non-withdrawable amount that sits above your starting balance.
Profit inside the buffer counts toward your account balance but is never available to withdraw, even once it's fully built.
Important: the buffer does not raise your drawdown floor. Your drawdown stays exactly where it was set at the start of your evaluation, regardless of your buffer. The buffer only determines what's eligible to withdraw — it has no effect on where your drawdown sits.
| Buffer requirement | Minimum payout | Minimum balance required before requesting payout |
$10k | $600 | $500 | $1,100 |
$25k | $1,100 | $500 | $1,600 |
$50k | $2,100 | $500 | $2,600 |
