INSTANT CORE accounts carry two limits that work differently. One ends your session. The other ends the account.
Daily Loss Limit (DLL)
The most you can lose within a single trading session.
Account Size | Daily Loss Limit |
$25,000 | $650 |
$50,000 | $1,250 |
$100,000 | $2,500 |
$150,000 | $4,000 |
Reaching the DLL is a soft breach. Trading halts for the remainder of that session and resumes when markets reopen at 6:00 PM ET. Your account stays open.
Max Loss Limit (MLL)
Account Size | Max Loss Limit |
$25,000 | $1,250 |
$50,000 | $2,500 |
$100,000 | $4,000 |
$150,000 | $5,250 |
If your balance touches the MLL, the account is breached and closed permanently. There is no reset on INSTANT CORE.
How the Trailing Drawdown Works
Your drawdown floor is set from your end-of-day balance. It rises with each new highest close and never moves back down.
Intraday movement does not shift the floor — only where the session closes counts. The floor itself is enforced in real time.
Drawdown Lock
The floor stops trailing once your balance reaches your starting balance plus your drawdown plus $100. From that point it is fixed at $100 above your starting balance, permanently, no matter how large the account grows.
Account Size | Floor stops trailing once you reach: | Floor locks permanently at: |
$25,000 | $26,350 | $25,100 |
$50,000 | $52,600 | $50,100 |
$100,000 | $104,100 | $100,100 |
$150,000 | $155,350 | $150,100 |
Worked example — $100,000 account
Your drawdown is $4,000, so the floor opens at $96,000. Close the day higher and the floor follows you up. The first time you close at or above $104,100, the floor settles at $100,100 and stops moving.
From then on you have the whole account above $100,100 to work with, and further growth doesn't tighten anything.
Requesting a payout also locks the floor, even if you haven't reached the threshold above.
