Consistency
The consistency rule measures how evenly your profits are generated across trading sessions, demonstrating consistent risk management rather than a single outsized day.
The Calculation
For Daily evaluations, the consistency percentage must be 50% or less.
Largest Single Day Profit ÷ Total Account Profit = Consistency %
Example
You are trading a $50,000 Daily Intraday evaluation with a $3,000 profit target.
Day one: $2,600
Day two: $400
Total profit: $3,000
$2,600 ÷ $3,000 = 87%
87% is over the requirement, so the target does not count as met. Keep trading until your largest day is at or under half of your total profit.
What It Means in Practice
At 50%, no single day can carry more than half your profit, so passing takes at least two profitable trading days — which aligns with the two-day minimum.
Account Size | Profit Target | Largest Day Allowed |
$25,000 | $1,500 | $750 |
$50,000 | $3,000 | $1,500 |
Evaluation Only
This rule applies during the evaluation only. Once funded, there is no consistency requirement at all.
