How do I view my full player roster and understand player status in Stacks?

Overview

The Players tab gives Admins a complete view of every athlete in your organization — who is registered, which groups they belong to, and whether they have connected their Stacks profile to the MLBU App.


Navigating to the Players Tab

  1. Click Players in the side panel

  2. Your full organization roster will display with the following information for each athlete:

Column

What It Shows

First Name

Athlete's first name

Last Name

Athlete's last name

Stacks ID

The athlete's unique identifier in the 1845 ecosystem

Claimed Status

Whether the athlete has connected their Stacks profile to the MLBU App

Groups

Which group(s) the athlete is assigned to


Understanding the Claimed Status

The Claimed status tells you whether an athlete has logged into the MLBU App and linked it to their Stacks profile.

Status

What It Means

Claimed

The athlete has logged into the MLBU App and successfully connected their Stacks profile

Unclaimed

The athlete has not yet logged into the MLBU App or has not connected their Stacks profile

Important: Claimed status is not required for Admins, coaches, or players to view data in Stacks. Coaches can still see athlete results and players can still access their profile regardless of this status. However, Claimed status is required for an athlete's Stacks data to link to the MLBU App — where players can access features like Player Match and more.


Why Is a Player Showing as Unclaimed?

If an athlete appears as Unclaimed it means one of the following:

  • They have not yet downloaded the MLBU App

  • They have downloaded the app but have not logged in

  • They have not connected their MLBU App account to their Stacks profile using their Stacks ID

Once they complete that connection, their status will update automatically and their Stacks data will become accessible within the MLBU App.


Nudging Unclaimed Athletes

If you have athletes showing as Unclaimed, share the following steps with them or their guardian:

  1. Download the MLBU App

  2. Log in or create an account

  3. Navigate to their profile settings and enter their Stacks ID to connect their accounts

Their Stacks ID is located in the header of their Stacks player profile. They can also find it by logging into Stacks directly.


⚠️ Do not confuse Unclaimed status with missing data.

An Unclaimed athlete can still have a complete Stacks profile with full BASE results — they simply have not connected it to the MLBU App yet.
