What does a “double Asian handicap” bet mean?

Updated over 3 months ago

A double Asian handicap is used when the handicap value is a multiple of 0.25 but not 0.5 (for example: -0.25, +0.25, -0.75, +0.75, etc.).

In this case, the bet is divided into two equal parts, each calculated separately based on the nearest standard handicap values:

  • H1 = H − 0.25

  • H2 = H + 0.25

This type of bet helps to partially protect your balance and reduce the risk of a total loss.

Example:
A 50 ₺ bet on Real Madrid to win with a handicap of (0 and -0.5).

  • If Real Madrid wins — both parts of the bet win.
    Payout: 50 ₺ × 2 = 100 ₺

  • If the match ends in a draw — the part with a handicap of 0 is refunded (25 ₺),
and the part with a handicap of -0.5 loses.
    Payout: 25 ₺

  • If Real Madrid loses — both parts of the bet lose.
    Payout: 0 ₺
