This update includes a new reporting feature, plus bug fixes and improvements based on your feedback. Thank you for making 1Place better.

H&S Incidents

Incident Excel Reports - New:

  • Incident Report (Task): Introducing a new Incident Report option (located below the original Incident Report) designed for large data exports. Perfect for pulling 1,000+ incidents or extensive date ranges (up to 1 year) without timing out. Reports process in the background, allowing you to leave the page entirely.

  • Report Tasks Tab: Access your background-processed reports anytime from the new Report Tasks tab. Your reports are personal to you - only you can see and download the reports you've requested. Download completed reports at your convenience, or use the email link sent when your report is ready. No more waiting around for large exports to finish.

The original Incident Report remains available for quick, smaller exports. We're considering expanding background processing to other Excel reports in the future.

Incident Excel Reports - Fixed:

  • V2 Incident Type Reports: Reports now include incidents from all versions, not just the selected version, as originally intended

    • Archived Incident Types: Archived incident types are now available to export in Excel reports

Incident PDFs & Display - Fixed:

  • PDF Reports - Hazard Information: Hazard information now displays correctly in V2 incident PDF reports and history reports. Added signature status to incident PDF reports​

  • PDF Generation - Number Fields: PDF reports now generate successfully even when number fields have no validation values configured in the builder

  • Incident Register - Name Display: Long incident names (affected person/child names) now wrap to multiple lines instead of being cut off

Incident Builder - Fixed:

  • Draft Versions: Users can now delete draft versions from the versions page as expected

  • Builder Preview: Preview now correctly reflects the 'Show all Sections on a Single Page (App)' setting when editing templates

  • Investigation Button: The Investigation button is now hidden when an incident type has no investigation questions, or when investigation questions have conditional rules that haven't been triggered yet. This keeps the interface cleaner and more focused.

Incident Dashboard - Fixed:

  • H&S Widgets: Dashboard widgets now only display active incidents, excluding inactive incident data


Checklists & Tickets

Checklist Excel Reports - Fixed:

  • Sub Questions: Fixed multiple Excel reports where conditional questions (sub-questions) weren't displaying correctly.
    Affected reports: Checklist Report, Checklist Exception Report, Checklist Change History Report, Checklist Answers Report, and Checklist Answers Group Report

Tickets - Fixed:

  • Email Layout: Fixed layout issues in ticket email notifications

Site Dashboard - Improved:

  • App/PWA: When creating a checklist, ticket, or incident from a site's dashboard, the current site is now automatically pre-selected for your convenience


Settings

Improved:

  • OTP Password Reset: Added ability to send one-time password (OTP) to a secondary email address when resetting passwords


System & Performance

Fixed:

  • User Uploader: Improved performance for clients with large numbers of users - user upload process no longer times out

  • Exception Calendar: Exception dates now correctly apply to new sites linked to a franchisee


API (For Business Intelligence Users)

Improved:

  • Ticket Category API Endpoint: New API endpoint added for ticket categories, improving data integration with BI tools

  • Incident Report Filter: Added Answer Type filter to Incident Report API for more granular data querying
