This article will explain how to create and view Hazards within the 1Place App.

The Hazard section within the 1Place app allows users to add new Hazards to sites that can be used in Incident reports, as well as edit currently existing Hazards.

To access the Hazards section of the app the user must click the three lines at the top right of the app.

The side menu will appear. Click the Hazards button to get started.

A list of currently existing Hazards, the site the hazard is applicable to, the date the hazard was created and its review date will be shown.

Clicking on one of the Hazards will allow you to see its specific details, as well as edit any details within.

You may search for specific hazards by typing in the ‘Search’ box at the top of the screen.

Click the blue ‘Search’ button to search once you have entered the name of the hazard you are searching for to see the results.

Creating a New Hazard:

  • To create a new Hazard, click the pink ‘+’ button on the bottom right of the screen.

  • The first page you will be taken to will make you search for a site to apply the Hazard to.

  • Various options for creating this Hazard will appear once you click the “Create Hazard” button.

  • You may even add photos to show an example of the hazard by clicking the icon of a camera in the bottom right of the page.

  • Click the ‘Submit’ button at the top of the screen once you are satisfied with your choices.

  • Once you click submit a confirmation box will appear confirming the completion of the creation of the hazard.

Editing an Existing Hazard:

  • To edit existing Hazards, go to the main Hazards page which shows the list of all of your Hazards.

  • Click on the desired hazard to edit.

  • The same page you saw when creating a new hazard will appear, allowing you to edit the existing Hazard.

  • Submit the Hazard.
