Logging an Incident
Updated over a week ago

Introduction

Having robust Health & Safety practices is a must nowadays and as such, we have designed logging an Incident to be as easy to use as possible, taking you step-by-step along the way. It all starts at the Dashboard.
โ€‹

Dashboard

When you log in the Dashboard will be displayed. To log a new Incident, click on the '+' button at the bottom of the page.

Submitting a new Incident

It will open a pop up box with options of what 'New' addition you would like to make:

  1. Checklist

  2. Ticket

  3. Note

  4. Incident

Click on 'Incident.' The next screen will show 'New Incident' at the top of the page. Choose which Room that the incident occurred in from the dropdown list. Click on 'CANCEL' to go back or 'CREATE INCIDENT' to proceed.

A new Incident will be raised for you to fill out. Fill in all of the details until you reach the bottom of the page.

There may be some mandatory fields which you will need to fill in to be able to proceed in submitting the Incident and these are in pink. If they are not filled in, then a pop up box will appear.

When you have filled in the details, click on the 'SUBMIT' button on the top right of the page. A pop up box will appear advising that the incident is being submitted and the text within the pop up box will change to advise that the ticket has been submitted successfully. You can then click on the 'CONTINUE EDITING' button or 'GO TO DASHBOARD' button.

Send Incident via email

When you click inside of this box, you are able to send or cc the incident to any person of your choosing to advise them about this incident by using the '+' (Add) button. The system will automatically add you to the cc line.

Drafts

If you haven't finished filling in the details or you go offline, you can save them to your Drafts folder and complete it at a later date. If you are working offline, there will be a diagonal line through the cloud icon at the top of the page. If you try and submit the incident, an error message will pop up and it will save the incident into 'Drafts.' You are able to go into the incident and submit it once you are back online.

When you click on 'DRAFTS' in the top section, you will be able to view all Drafts, which are under three titles (if you have them): 'Drafts Unsubmitted Checklists,' 'Drafts Unsubmitted Tickets' and 'Drafts Unsubmitted Incidents.' Click on the draft that you would like to complete and it will open for you to finish and submit. To delete the draft, click on the rubbish bin icon on the right of the page.

When you have submitted the incident from the Drafts folder, it will remove the ticket from the Drafts folder and add it to the top of the 'Incidents' tab.
