3DPrinterOS lets you connect your 3D printers, prepare and slice models in the cloud, and send print jobs from your browser.
If your printer is already connected through the 3DPrinterOS Client, it appears on your Printers page automatically, and you can skip straight to slicing.
1. Connect your printer
Open the Printers page, click Add Printer, select your printer model, and follow the Printer Wizard. Most printers connect through the 3DPrinterOS Client, the software you install to link a printer to your account (available for Windows, Ubuntu, and Raspberry Pi, with a macOS build as well, from the Downloads page). Some models connect through a native integration using an access code from the printer's screen instead. Once connected, your printer shows up on the Printers page with an Idle status.

2. Slice your model
Slicing converts an STL model into Gcode, the format your printer reads. Add your model to the Files page, click Slice next to it, pick a slicing profile or adjust the settings, and run the slice. 3DPrinterOS slices in the cloud, so it does not rely on your own computer's resources. To clean up or edit an STL before slicing, you can use the built-in STL editor.

3. Send it to the printer
Open the Files page, find your sliced .gcode file, and click Print next to it. Choose your printer, then click Print to start right away or Queue to add the job to the print queue. You can attach a note for the printer operator if you need to, and a confirmation appears once the job is submitted.
