Risk management in AIM

Updated over 5 months ago

The results of a Risk Assessment can be uploaded in the Risk Assessment component.

The Risk Based IM Plan dashboard is used to present the results.

Different companies might use different risk matrices, and 4subsea AIM facilitates this. The support tables can be used to define the risk matrix, i.e. The different probabilities, severities and which colors they represent. The failure modes and field specific failure mode assessments can also be defined in the support tables.

The severity is usually defined by the highet severity associated with the asset. However, in some cases, this will return an unacceptable risk and the severity is reassessed specifically for the failure modes that returned a risk considered too high. In those cases the user will define the severity instead of using the highest one.
