Setting your standard operating schedule
There are three ways to manage your standard operating schedule in 5-Out:
1️⃣ Sync with Google Places
5-Out syncs with Google to pull in your operating hours automatically. This means that we use the information you have set up in Google Places (Google's listing for local business search results) by default when we first set up your account.
If your operating hours change, simply make the adjustment in Google and you will see the updated hours of operation reflected in 5-Out automatically at midnight.
2️⃣ Link to your point of sale (POS)
To link your operating schedule to your point of sale,
Log in to 5-Out
Click on “Settings,” the gear icon at the bottom of the menu on the left side of your screen
Click on “Restaurant Info,” the fork and knife icon directly below the gear

Adding holidays and ad hoc closures
If you plan to close on a day that you would typically be open according to your standard operating schedule -- for a holiday, construction, or an ad hoc closure -- you should override your forecast for that day to keep 5-Out's week and month forecasts as accurate as possible.
To set a day to close for a holiday or ad hoc day off:
Log in to 5-Out
Click on “Forecasts", the arrow icon second to the top on the right hand menu
Navigate to a date range that include the day your are closing:
Scroll down to the table where each day is listed out and click "edit" in the far right column for the day you are closing:
Adjust the forecast to $0 revenue and 0 covers, and select "Restaurant Closure" as the reason:
Select "save" to see this change updated immediately throughout 5-Out
