🚫 How do I manage user permissions or delete a user in 5-Out?

User Permissions are used within 5-Out to change the privileges of a 5-Out platform or app user.

When you're creating a new user, you have the option to set one of the following permissions for them:

  • Account Admin - Has complete management access to restaurants and customer information.

  • Restaurant Admin - Has full management access to specific restaurants

  • Restaurant Editor - Can view and edit information about a restaurant e.g create and publish schedules and track purchases.

  • Restaurant Viewer - Can only view data accross the platform. No ability to edit and information.

To change a users' permission:

  1. Login to 5-Out

  2. Navigate to Settings > User Permissions

  3. View current permissions in the third column

  4. Edit user permissions by clicking the three dots all the way to the right and selecting "Edit User:"

  5. Choose whether to deactivate the user or change their role:

  6. Select a new role in the dropdown at the bottom of the field and click save:
