πŸ“± How do I use the employee app?

The 5-Out employee app allows team members to view their scheduled shifts, set their availability, request time off, and chat with their team. This page covers how to navigate the employee app.

Create your 5-Out account

  1. Open the email with the subject line "[5-Out] User Invitation - Action Required"

  2. Click link that says "Set up account:"

  3. Create and confirm your password and click "Finish Setup"

Download the 5-Out app

You can download the 5-Out app one of two ways:

  1. Follow the link in the email you receive next with the subject line "5-Out app download!"

  2. Click this button from a mobile device:

Navigate the employee app

  1. Log in using your email address and new password

  2. Review a summary of upcoming shifts on the Home Screen

  3. Take a closer look at your schedule in the Schedule Screen:

    • Toggle between your and the teams' schedule just above the dates

    • Toggle between weeks by clicking the arrows to the left and right of the dates

  4. Message your teammates and see team announcements in the Chat screen

    • Start a new chat by click the "+" arrow in the top right

    • Search for a past conversation in the search bar

    • Review team-wide announcements in the "Accouncements" section

    • Reach out directly to team members in the "My Conversations" section

  5. Review your personal info and/or sign out in the Account screen:

  6. Click "time off" to review your time off or request new time off:

  7. Click the "+" button in the top right and fill out the form to request new time off:
