Assigning a Vendor to a Request
Assigning a Vendor to a Request
Updated over a week ago

Assigning a vendor is one of the most important steps while documenting R&M. Here's a quick guide on how to select a vendor for your request.

Click the "Assign a Vendor" Button

If there is no vendor assigned to a request, you will receive a banner under Actions & Alerts prompting you to select the vendor that will be servicing your equipment.

You can also assign a vendor by going to the Vendor Information section of your screen.

Click the teal "Assign Vendor" button.

Select Your Vendor from the Drop-Down

A neatly organized drop-down menu will appear, listing vendors that can service the asset type selected for the service request.

Take a moment to scroll through and select the vendor you need for the job. When you find the vendor you're looking for, click on their name.

Use the Contact Information Provided

Once you click the vendor's name, their phone number, email, and address will appear.

If you have not yet called or emailed the vendor, use the listed information to reach out and coordinate service with them.

Click "Assign" and Confirm

Once you've coordinated with the vendor, it's time to make it official.

Click the "Assign Vendor" button located under the vendor's address.

The vendor's contact information will be available in the Vendor Information section of the request.

The vendor assigned will also appear in your Insights reports for further R&M insights.
