Close a Request in the App

Updated over a week ago

Closing out service requests promptly not only ensures more accurate data but also contributes to a streamlined workflow. Here's a quick guide on how to close a service request in just a few simple steps.

Navigate to the request

Find the request that you need to close out. Requests can be searched for either by scrolling through the requests page or by entering keywords or request IDs into the search bar.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen

You'll see a teal "Complete Request" button. Click it to start the Complete Request workflow.

Fill out the information

A form will appear after selecting "Complete Request."

This form prompts you to provide essential information regarding the resolution of the service request. Be thorough and accurate in your responses, as this information helps maintain a comprehensive record for future reference.

❗ Selecting "Service No Longer Needed" as the reason you're closing the request will send a message to the vendor asking them to cancel service. ONLY choose this option if the issue was resolved on site and you no longer want a technician to come out.

Click "Complete"

After filling out the necessary details, click the "Complete" button at the bottom of the form.

Clicking "Complete" solidifies the closure of the service request and updates the system with the latest status. This step ensures that everyone involved is informed of the resolution.
