Knowing the difference between your USD wallet and your Card balance is essential for a smooth experience on the Bitnob app. It helps you manage how much you keep in your wallet for savings, transfers, or other uses—and how much you load onto your card for payments.
Why This Matters
Many users assume that having funds in their USD wallet means their card is automatically funded. However, this is not the case.
If your card balance is $0—even if your USD wallet has funds—any card transaction will fail.
This leads to multiple failed card deduction attempts, a frozen or terminated card and a $1 penalty fee.
To avoid this, always top up your card manually from your USD balance before using it online.
To learn how to top up your card, click on the button below:
Your Bitnob USD balance, shown on the app's homepage, is the total amount of USD you have available. You can use these funds for savings, transfers, card top-ups, and other features within the app.
