USDT is a digital dollar, also known as a stable coin that is available on the Bitnob app. Just like with your Bitcoin, you can send this asset to your other USDT-enabled wallets, and also receive it from USDT-enabled wallets.
How to send USDT on the Bitnob app
Open the Bitnob app
Tap the “Actions” tab at the bottom of your home page
The app actions will pop up on your screen
Tap "Transfer"
Tap “Transfer as USDT”
Choose your preferred USDT Network
Please note that you can only send to an external wallet that uses the TRC20, BEP20, and Polygon networks, for now.
Scan or paste the USDT wallet address you want to send to or select a saved address.
Tap “Next”
Enter the authentication code generated by your authentication app
Tap "Confirm"
Enter the OTP sent to your email address
Enter the recipient's name
Tap "Proceed"
Input the amount you want to send
Tap “Next”
Confirm the details in the transaction summary and Tap “Proceed”
Input your transaction PIN.
Your USDT is on its way to the receiver!
Important: Before you can successfully send USDT to a recipient, you will be required to save the recipient's wallet address by entering the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered email address.
How to Receive USDT on the Bitnob app
Open the Bitnob app
Tap the “Actions” tab at the bottom of your home page
The app actions will pop up on your screen
Tap “Receive”
Tap “USDT”
Choose your preferred USDT Network
Please note that you can only receive from an external wallet on the TRC20, BEP20, and Polygon network, for now.
Scan or copy the USDT address and share it with your friends, family and clients.
Your funds will be received in your USD Wallet.
USDT Minimum Transaction Amounts
When using your Bitnob USDT wallet, there are minimum amounts required for receiving and sending USDT.
You can receive a minimum of $1 in your Bitnob USDT wallet. Any amount below $1 will not be supported.
The minimum amount you can send from your Bitnob USDT wallet is $10. A $2 network fee also applies to each outgoing transaction for any amount above $10.
Therefore, you need a minimum balance of $12 to send $10 from your wallet.
Note: The $2 network fee is added to the amount you are sending. Ensure that your wallet balance is sufficient to cover both the transaction amount and the network fee.
